How time flies. Turns out my current lid is older than 5 years and I'll need a new one for my upcoming track day.

I wonder about the ridges along the top. I'd be concerned about them catching on something while sliding down the track, no?

Yeah, not sure I am too worried about that . . . . I ended up getting this helmet and it is awesome.

There have been many updates to the Arai top of the line racing helmet. The pads inside don't impinge on the ears anymore, and it is light, light, light!
