Look through all the different trail systems, you'll be most interested in Green and Blue trails within each of the 8 systems. For example:

It is just over 5 hours from my house to the Pinnacle Creek trailhead. Pinnacle Creek system also has a connector to another system. The connector alone is almost 20 miles. this is something I would want to take a long weekend to do and would trailer or carry the bike in the truck, either camp or hotel it. I would want a lockable place for stuff and tools (truck) and to be able to bring things. Would be fun. Unlike on the TAT, we would be leaving our stuff for long periods of time. I'm not doing that without being able to lock it up. this would DEFINITELY be a place to go with a bunch of people. Some of the camps rent ATVs.

Sounds like something to do in June. I think this was the system Michael Milner was talking about, and Jack, who we met at Bob's and rides the Sertao, was also talking about it.
