The bike ( #r1100s ) is ready. I had to replace the battery yesterday which involved removing the tank. When I re-installed it and fired the bike up it ran worse than I have ever heard it run. It was shaking and back firing and wouldn't hold an idle.

Needless to say, I had a momentary "oh sh**" thought. I pulled the tank off again thinking maybe I had tweaked something when I noticed the throttle cable on the right side throttle body and pulled out of it's cradle. I put the cable back in and the bike runs perfectly. 

Now I know what extreme out of balance throttle bodies sound like.
