Ride from Birmingham, AL to Morgan City, LA via Biloxi and New Orleans.
Day 5 of trip to Austin, Texas (Wednesday, 18 April).
Ride along Bullpasture River and Cowpasture River through Washington and Jefferson National Forrest. Start at I-64, Exit 27 in Clifton Forge, VA and head north on Douthat State Park Road. Left on VA-39, then right on route 629 to McClung to pick up River Road (625) north to McDowell. Head East on US-250 to route 614 (Cowpasture River Road South) and return to Clifton Forge via Milboro Springs and VA-42.

Ride from Harrisoburg,Virginia to Reddish Knob
This is a nice day ride out of Dayton, VA over Reddish Knob to Sugar Grove West Virginia, Moyers Gap to US-220 south to Harper, Snowy Mountain Road to Cherry Grove, WV Route 28 to Thornwood, etc. Return via US-250 East to West Augusta, Mt. Solon, and Bridgewater.

Meet at the Sheetz in Ruckersville, VA. Side stand up at zero dark thirty.
Fulks Run, VA to route 3 north of Oak Flat, WV. Dirt and gravel forrest road with several water crossings.
Twisty ride through Northeastern Albemarle County Virginia. Stony Point, Burnley Station, Watts Passage, and Polo Grounds Road.
A nice loop from Fulks Run, VA on Little Dry River Road and Rough Run Road over the mountain to Oak Flat an back across US-33.
NOTE: Little Dry River Road and Rough Run Road to route 3 is gravel forrest road with several water crossings. Easy for dirt bikes. Moderate difficulty on large adventure bikes (challenging with street tires). Would be difficult on street/sport bikes. This section is not recommended for inexperienced riders.
