NC 28 / US 64 quickly leaves Franklin behind as it rolls out towards the mountains through gentle flat ground. It changes dramatically once it enters the Cullasja Gorge, home to 4 great roadside waterfalls. The road gets tight and twisty. It's a popular area with such nice attractions, expect traffic.
