US 276 - Cruso Road
Passing under the Blue Ridge Parkway, US 276 makes a dramatic 1500 ft. drop in 3.1 miles to the Big East Fork Trailhead. The tight back to back turns and steep grade are a thrill. Once past this drop the road winds through the Pisgah Forest then follows the Pigeon River and the valley opens up. The ride takes you through homes and some scattered farms to the traffic light in Bethel.
