For the transmission and final drive. The recommendation I have received from very knowledgeable sources is to /NOT/ use synthetic in these applications. 220cc for the final drive 800cc for the transmission Amazon.com: Spectro Hypoid Motorcycle Gear Lubricant 80W90 1 Quart: Automotive(https://adv-traveler.com/136/links/56611/amazon-com--spectro-hypoid-motorcycle-gear-lubricant-80w90-1-quart--automotive)

Disintegrating Wire Sheathing(https://adv-traveler.com/yermo/bikes/39847/the-guest-bike/photos/56576/disintegrating-wire-sheathing) Disintegrating Wire Sheathing(https://adv-traveler.com/yermo/bikes/39847/the-guest-bike/photos/56577/disintegrating-wire-sheathing) I imagine just wrapping it in electrical tape is not a good solution. In the BMW MOA forum over on Facebook I asked if anyone could suggest alternatives. One person suggested: Amazon.com: DEI 010491 Quick Fix Tape - Self-Curing, Waterproof Silicone Insulation Tape, 1" x 12' Roll - Black: Automotive(https://adv-traveler.com/136/links/56578/amazon-com--dei-010491-quick-fix-tape---self-curing--waterproof-silicone-insulation-tape--1--x-12--roll---black--automotive) Are there other alternatives?
