I sheered off one of the center stand bolts, so they need to be replaced.
I need to prep the bike for the upcoming Virginia mapping trip. The oil filler cap is spinning in place again and needs to be resealed. It's been ages since I've checked the valves so that needs to be done and the plugs are also quite old.
I will have to keep an eye on it but it seems like the oil sight glass is leaking.
The front left brake line on the guest bike has failed. I placed an order for replacement lines.
I have a set of new Michelin Pilot Road 5GT's that I got from Revzilla waiting to be installed. User K1300S had asked to participate so I'm scheduling this for the weekend.
It's always saddest when they die too young. The rear tire on the R1100S is punctured and needs to be replaced.
The zoom in button on my ancient Garmin Zumo 550 GPS popped out. On ADVRider I had come across a post by a guy from the Netherlands who sold replacement button strips for these units. I bought the strips and have had them lying around here for ages now.
This evening, in a moment of clarity, I decided to try to repair the unit. I honestly thought it would be more difficult than it was.
Check out the blog tab for a complete description of the process.
