Gas Stop 153.3 3.44
The road from heading South from Lime Plant Road to 144 was surprisingly nice with dramatic drops.
Lime Plant Road is a surprisingly well paved hilly curvy farm road with a tree tumnel section and some very aurprising corners on hills that drop out from under you.
Mich needed bathroom stop.
Ugh. Traffic.
My left shoulder has locked up properly. We've stopped at this shell station which has a full on grocery store attached.
Taking advil and drinking some water.
Lunch was surprisingly good. Heading back now.
"That f:((/ tankbag has fot to go." has been a recurring statement of mine in addition to, "You boys gonna be fine, just fine."
Feeling a little run down.
From here it's just home. Since we've got planty of time we'll try to stay off slab.
Found a country kitchen called Cheetah B's that seems ok.
It's gotten hot out and there's quite a bit if traffic in Petersburg. We've been spoiled today given how empty the roads have been.
App crashed stopped tracking and gave me the login screen.
Gas stop. Shared the hose. Hungry looking for food.
Smike hole did not disappoint.
We're here about two hours earlier than I expected.
Required Smoke Hole Road stop on the bridge. The sun here feels like an oven but otherwise it's not too hot.
My phone is acting weird. The camera app crashed.
Our app threw some errors I had not seen before having to do with storing images.
Indian Draft, Bull Pasture, and 250 continue to not disappoint.
The fog lifted shortly after we let and it turned into another gorgeous day. There's dramatically less traffic today.
The surface on 250 is rippled as if some big tracked construction equipment had torn it up. This led to me skipping the front tire near the apex of a sharp right hander ... I nearly tucked the front. First #oops of the trip.
My shoulder has started hurting badly enough that I asked for a break.
Wrong turn. Nice little road to scout.
Gas stop. 152.0 miles 3.629 gallons.
Much foggier out here than we realized.
Electric vest weather again. Foggy morning.
It's 06:30, and I am just waking up.
Ryan: "It's time to motivate."
Me: "Ugh"
Ryan: "You can do it!"
Me: "I am disturbed by your faith in me."
