S. Mountain and Cold Springs Roads

This is an excellent narrow twisty bouncy forested mountain road with occasional stretches of houses. This has long been one of our favorites.

WARNING: Where it meets with Route 16 on a downhill slope towards the stop sign, we encountered deep loose chip seal which led to an off. Be cautious on these roads. Chip seal is a recurring danger.
