bike off in wash. Problem sorted but down one rider. 

A German couple just went into the road in a new shiny new pickup truck. I hope they got the extra insurance with their rental. I informed them there were riders with a problem ahead. Getting hot. 

I’m presently siring where the trail meets pavement. Ash and I arrived but no followers. It was a pretty technical route, steep ups and downs, rocky, really tight. Obviously someone has had a problem. Hoping its mechanical, flat tire or such. I’m going to wait at the road in case someone needs to go for help. 

Way ahead of schedule but then this is a fast group. We’re doing better than 60 on most of the dirt stuff dodging all the border control trucks and flying through the beautiful countryside. We’ve stopped for “lunch” in Pategonia ( aka Second Breakfast). There’s just too little chance of finding another place to eat.

Oops, forgot to start the ride today. We’ve left the hotel and are starting the Chiricahua Loop ride. Already off pavement.
