well we have finally made it into ouray with my little group of riders. of course we had adventure along the way, I have successfully repaired another tire, zip, tied some parts on, etc. The other group made it in a while before us, and there's no seating at the restaurant presently. So we'll wait our turn, I'll get these guys fed, and then will determine what happens next.

So we're at the junction of the turn onto corkscrew and the road that leads into Silverton. it has been quite the cluster. I am taking two of the riders out of here. One has just completely lost his grip. and I'll take them down to Silverton and back into town in the highway. I'm not sure I have enough left in me to lift another bike.

however, the top of a California past. damn, I am hurting this guide pay. picking up stuck bikes, riding them through the stuff they got them stuck in, coaching them to get on up the hill, and down the hill. The tool kit has been out several times already, fortunately, no flat tires. yet. Great views from up here, it's always nice, seems like it never take enough photos to capture it. , and it's a whole nother experience. then, we do the hard stuff.

So we've made it into animas forks. progress is much slower than expected, there are so many ATVs and four wheelers out on the trails that we're having to stop wait and just taking a long time. still. it's a nice day and now we have a decision point for some of the riders if they want to go on and do some of the more challenging stuff from here.

we made it to top of cinnamon pass a few incidents but nothing too bad and now we are heading down to animas forks

pretty rough and Rocky so far and this is the easy section we haven't hit the steep section where it's going to get even more rocky stupid is more rocky. it is lots of razors and other vehicles out today and we're trying to keep a pace to stay ahead of them but not so fast that we have issues or blow a tire stop.

first repair done loose brake handle fixed and on the road again.
