The boat is pretty much ready to go. We re waiting on a sail to be delivered, still need to rig the safety lines, would like to get a propane tank filled, all minor tasks to kill the time tomorrow while we wait for the best weather window to depart. Our Marina (https://miles-by-motorcycle.com/yermo/rides/270929/aravilla-crossing-from-norfolk-to-st-maarten/photos/271194/our-marina-) We ve heard from Tabasco. They are near the mouth of the Chesapeake so it will be after dark before they anchor off the marina. Plan is to meet on shore for dinner at the marina restaurant, pick up Yermo, then we ll go out to anchor tomorrow nearby and transfer the remaining equipment and supplies to Aravilla. USS Wisconsin (https://miles-by-motorcycle.com/yermo/rides/270929/aravilla-crossing-from-norfolk-to-st-maarten/photos/271195/uss-wisconsin-) Time to rest a bit and wait for our remaining crew member.
Huh. It looks like I've only been runnung the jacket at half heat. There's a second button I missed. This is quite nice because even in the pilot house it's a bit chilly. I had been feeling a bit questionable about this purchase since it was quite expensive, but now I think it was a solid choice. This is working out well.
