I’ve /finally/ finished the MOB1 programming and installation. Intermittent signal and some confusion because the offshore vests don’t look like the instructions or any videos I’ve found but after much careful pondering I think I have a setup that works. It’s a little stressful because if this needs to be used it’ll mean someone’s life hangs in the balance.

Sailing is subject to the whims of weather. The weather has changed again. Now it looks like the better path is South along the coast instead of straight out. On Saturday we’ll re-evaluate whether we head out into deep ocean or we continue down the coast.
